Ince & Co – Court upholds detention of superyacht under UK Sanctions Regulations
The English Court has held that the decision of the Secretary of State for Transport to detain a superyacht pursuant to UK sanctions regulations was lawful, notwithstanding that the yacht’s Russian owner was not a sanctioned individual. It was sufficient that the owner was “connected with” Russia.
