During 2018, a cross-industry rehabilitation working group, comprising insurers, defendant lawyers, claimant representatives and rehabilitation providers, came together to develop proposals to incorporate rehabilitation into the new Litigant in Person portal for low value RTA claims. Focusing on the common goal of helping the claimant to a swift recovery the group tackled issues that create friction and increase costs.
